Workplace Policy for Code Sport Studio

  • Equal Opportunity Employment: We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or national origin.
  • Work Hours: The standard work hours are 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Employees can work flexible hours and work from home with manager approval as long as project delivery and work commitments are not impacted. All employees are entitled to a 60-minute lunch break. During crucial project periods, employees are expected to work beyond standard hours to meet deadlines. This additional work time will be compensated through time off in lieu.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Employees are expected to be responsible for their work deliverables and commitments to colleagues and clients. Unplanned leave must be reported to the manager as soon as possible along with an expected return date. During project periods, all leave must be approved in advance by managers.
  • Dress Code: The company promotes a casual work environment. All employees can wear comfortable sportswear or athletic clothes of their choice. We value creativity, not dress codes. However, client interactions and workplace safety standards must be kept in mind.
  • Use of Company Resources: Company resources are provided primarily for work use to fulfill project objectives and generate value for clients. Minimal personal use of resources is permitted if it does not impact productivity or delivery commitments. The company monitors only to protect resources and security.
  • Workplace Conduct: All employees are expected to behave in an ethical and responsible manner keeping project and client interests in mind. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. The company prohibits any kind of harassment. Misconduct will lead to termination of employment.
  • Termination of Employment: The company provides fair compensation and benefits so that employees can focus on professional excellence and client success. Termination can only happen under extreme circumstances through a defined process with managerial oversight. All company assets must be returned on the last working day.

The spirit behind these policies is to facilitate an empowering and fulfilling work environment for employees while meeting the company's business objectives. Managers are responsible for effective implementation of these policies keeping in mind the wellbeing of the team and the interests of the clients and company. The policies will be reviewed regularly and modified based on change in organization needs and values.
